LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The Bureau of Land Management Las Cruces District Office announced that beginning Aug. 1, the visitor centers at the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site and Dripping Springs Natural Area will reopen. Hours of operation will be limited to accommodate health and safety as well as staffing levels.

Daily operating hours for recreation sites are as follows:

Once the visitor centers reopen, there will be capacity limits enforced to allow for proper social distancing. Restroom facilities will remain open, and visitors must use self-pay stations at the respective sites when visitor centers are closed.

The health and safety of our visitors, employees and volunteers continues to be paramount. When recreating, the public should follow New Mexico Department of Health orders, practice Leave No Trace principles, practice social distancing and avoid high-risk outdoor activities.

Details and updates on operations will continue to be posted on our website and social media channels. For more information about these areas, and other recreational opportunities, please contact the BLM Las Cruces District Office at 575-525-4300.
