Event hosted by Southwest Center on Aging and Friends will Raise Funds for Las Cruces Walk to End Alzheimer’s, as well as Casa De Peregrinos Food Program

Albuquerque, NM – September 17, 2021 – The Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter is pleased to announce proceeds from the Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Southwest Center on Aging and Friends will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Las Cruces, as well as another charity, the Casa De Peregrinos Food Program. Proceeds will be divided evenly between the two.

“We are so grateful to the Southwest Center on Aging and Friends for including us in their fundraising efforts,” says Emily Chaddock (Southwestern Regional Development Manager, Alzheimer's Association, New Mexico Chapter). “Their organization plays such an important role in the community, and shows enormous support to our cause each year. We really can’t thank them enough.”

The public is invited, though as of press time, the available spots for teams is currently sold out. There is still a chance to get involved, however, by sponsoring or making a donation. See contact info below.

The Charity Golf Tournament is on Friday, September 24. Registration is at 11am, followed by lunch. Shotgun start is at 1pm. Cost is $100 per player, $400 per team. 

Immediately after the tournament, there will be awards and prizes.
