(Albuquerque, NM) – Buying an Electric Vehicle (EV) is an exciting move. National Drive Electric Week is happening from September 25– October 3, and with discounts and rebates from PNM, it’s even better! You can get up to $300 off on ENERGY STAR® certified Level 2 EV chargers, plus up to $1,000 toward an electrical panel upgrade. This opportunity is another part of the PNM effort to accelerate clean transportation in New Mexico and help customers save money.

“This opportunity for customers is very special to me,” said Alaric Babej Manager, Customer Program Marketing and Development for PNM. “With my background in cars and love for EVs, I’m really excited for customers to take advantage of these rebates and savings. We are also very excited for the future of electric transportation and want to help our customers right here in New Mexico drive forward together.”

There is also an opportunity for customers to learn more about EVs from PNM experts right here in Albuquerque. The Albuquerque National Drive Electric Week event is happening on September 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the ABQ BioPark-Zoo (903 10th St. SW) in the south parking lot.

Here are some quick facts about new ENERGY STAR® certified Level 2 chargers:
