Albuquerque, November 25—Today Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce issued the following statement in observance of Thanksgiving Day:

“The Republican Party of New Mexico and I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday. Americans have so much to be thankful for, and this special day is a reminder of the importance to come together and give thanks for the fortunes and treasured freedoms we all share. While many Americans face difficult times, we have much to be grateful for-- family, faith and freedom. I am particularly thankful for the freedoms we have in America and for the brave men and women who protect and defend our great country each day.

My family and I are also thankful for the opportunity to serve RPNM during this past year and are grateful for our volunteers and for those who contribute so much to secure this nation’s future.

I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.”
