Rebecca F. Garcia, 92, a former resident of Bayard, NM now of Alamogordo, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Alamogordo.  She was born November 10, 1927 in Santa Rita to Epigmenio and Susie Vigil Flores. She was a member of the Garden Club and Art Guild.  She is survived by three sons, Mark Garcia and wife Tina of Alamogordo; Richard Garcia of Phoenix, AZ; Ernie Garcia of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Susan Flores and husband Mike of CA; Kathleen Atwood and husband Chris of Logan, UT; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur G. Garcia; one son, David Garcia; four brothers, Eduardo, Benny, Arthur, and David Flores; four sisters, Esther Tafoya, Abigail Montes, Helen Guerra, and Sally Flores. Visitation will be Thursday, January 16 from 4-5pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels.

The funeral service will be on Friday, January 17 at 10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Duane Gray officiating.  Concluding service and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Pallbearers will be Matthew Garcia, Tommy Garcia, Aaron Estrada, Mandi Garcia, Jessica Garcia, and Joshua Garcia.
