Alec Gutierrez was born in Silver City, NM on August 16, 1998 and passed away at his home in Rio Rancho, NM on September 7, 2020. He is survived by his mother Leslie Gutierrez (partner Jerald Tapia) of Rio Rancho, NM and his stepfather Robert Rosales of Los Lunas, NM. Four sisters Mercedes Gutierrez & partner Fernando Quiroz, Mia Rosales, Michaela Tapia and Ashley Bebow & spouse Josh Bebow. Two brothers Isaac Gutierrez and Jayce Tapia. His life partner Kaisha Baca and their fur baby Yen. His maternal grandmother Sylvia Wilson & partner Juan Dominguez. His paternal grandparents George Gutierrez & partner Angie Guerrero and paternal grandmother and RoseMary Gutierrez of Hurley NM. Paternal Great Grandmother Aurelia Esqueda of Bayard.

God parents Eric & Rebecca Gonzales of San Diego, CA. Special Aunts & Uncles: Alfred & Veronica Perez Las Cruces NM, Naomi & Eric Jacquez and Joe & Melissa Gonzales of Grant County, Hector & Isela Villegas of El Paso TX.

Alec was the happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors and often spent most of his time at the Rio Grande River. He will be missed to no end.
