Evelo Keesee Hood, 88, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, October 03, 2020.  Evelo was born April 2, 1932 to Peter Martin Keesee and Mary Cecil Holtzclaw. Evelo is survived by two sons; Jimmy Leon Hood (Gene) of silver City, NM, and Tommy Raymond Hood (Norah) of Casper, WY; six daughters, Maxine Hale (Paul) of Thoreau, NM, Mary V. Humphrey (Carl) of Silver City, NM, Susie Barnes of Temple, OK, Jean Ellen Fortenberry (Dana) of Silver City, NM, Cyndi Rene Clark of Safford, AZ, Robyn Rice (Kyle) of Montrose, CO and one sister, Levita Dearborn of Greenville, AR; 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Evelo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Jerald Keesee, sisters; Arvel Bohen, Elvie Johnson, Ruth Keesee, Margie Pearl Holt and one great-grandson Joseph Marvin Fell. Evelo was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Services for Evelo will be Friday October 9, 2020 at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Charles Lord officiating. Visitation starting at 10:00 am and the Funeral service following at 11:00 am interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Fell, Brian Larabe, Wayne toney, Jacob Herring, Justin Blanton, Jared Fortenberry and Robert Hood.
