danieliversonDan Iverson, born December 5, 1937 in Bemidji, MN died June 27, 2021 at home in Silver City, NM. Dan, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Applen) Iverson, spent most of his formative years on the farm in Minnesota, graduating from Bagley High School in 1955. He served in the Navy for four years, met and married Jean Scherich and moved his young family from Van Nuys California to Eagle, Idaho in the early 70’s. His soul was at home in the mountains of Idaho, where he could fish and hunt to his heart's content. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a proud “Son of Norway”. He retired from IBM at 54 and they hit the road. Dan lived the life he wanted, where he wanted it and with the woman he loved for over 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean; son Sven-Eric Iverson, daughters, Shirley Gragg, and Kari Lane (Dale), Grandchildren; Bryan Maeen (Brittany), Jordan Maeen, Breanne Door (Dakota), Alli Lane, Jasper Lane, and Dutch Lane, and 5 great Grandchildren. As well as his sisters, Rebecca Winslow (Bob) and Ruth Iverson.

He taught us all to laugh, change a tire, build a fire, and shoot whistle pigs. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant brother David and younger brother, Bryan. His ashes will be placed in the Idaho wilderness along with his little brother, so they can watch the wildlife go by. No formal services are planned.

Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory “Trusted care for the ones you love” ~ 575-537-0777. To send condolences, visit www.terrazasfuneralchapel.com.
