Juan Garcia Arredondo, 86, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. He was born October 5, 1934 in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, Mexico to Juan Arredondo and Maria Garcia Arredondo. Juan was a beloved father and grandfather. He was very hardworking and had ingenious ways of fixing things.  He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two sons, Juan Manuel Arredondo and wife Maribel of AK; Jose Arredondo and wife Katie of Castlerock, CO; two daughters, Priscilla Shoup and husband Mike of Silver City; Maria Carrazco and husband Manuel of Deming; ten grandchildren; one brother, Angel Arredondo of El Paso, TX; two sisters, Socorro and Josefina Arredondo of Chihuahua, Mex; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Antonio, Jesus, and Alberto Arredondo; three sisters, Elisa, Maria, and Dolores Arrendondo.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 5 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels and with the holy rosary being recited by Carmen Terrazas to begin at 6pm.

On Friday, August 6 the funeral mass will be celebrated at Hurley Infant Jesus Shrine at 10am with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. Concluding service and interment will take place at Hurley cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Shoup, Manuel Carrazco, Manuel Carrazco Jr., Alejandro Carrazco, Antoinette Carrazco, and Zach Jimenez. Honorary pallbearers are Juan and Jose Arredondo and the rest of the grandchildren.
