josephmedranJoseph Michael Medran 23, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1997 in Killeen, TX to Joe Carrillo Medran and Victoria A. Sandoval.

Joseph was a very outgoing young man who loved fishing, shooting, bowling, motorcycles, his lifted blue truck, his Scooby Doo blanket and going to bingo with his gf (wife). He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. He pretty much lived with his grandparents his whole life, his grandma was his best friend and loved her to the moon and back. He may have drove his grandpa nuts and broke his wallet and bank but he loved him and will forever be in his heart, he was his dad.

Joseph was extremely excited when his sister had his nephew because he was no longer the only boy in the family. Joseph was a kind, loving, forgiving & generous person to everyone he did and didn't know. He was widely known for being a smart, strong, and very hard-working person. He loved construction work since he was a little boy and started welding and firefighting in high school. He will now be in heaven next to his sister Cheyenne and they will together be their family's guardian angels. Joseph will be forever missed - but never forgotten and always loved.

He is survived  by his mother, Victoria Sandoval Arroyos of Silver City; step-faher, Macario Arroyos of Silver City; his father, Joe Medran of Silver City; his companion or as he would say “his wife” Diane Gonzales of Bayard; three sisters, Espi Medran (companion, Tan Goodyear) of Silver City; Alex Arroyos of Silver City; Rosie Arroyos of Silver City; maternal grandparents, “Trudy” and Eli Sandoval of Silver City; paternal grandparents, Peggy and Tony Medran of Silver City; one niece, Erlynda Medran-Goodyear; one nephew, Jeremias Medran-Delgado. He was preceded in death by one sister, Cheyenne Arroyos.

Visitation will be Friday, September 10 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Dr. Gilbert Arizaga to commence at 6pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 11 at 11am at St. Francis Newman Center with Father Bartholomew Ezenwelem officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at St. Vincent Catholic cemetery.
