Tommy Sage Bocanegra, 20, of Lordsburg passed away August 9, 2022 in Lordsburg. 

Visitation for Tommy will be on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 9 to 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lordsburg. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 10 am followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 11 am also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be at Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg. Officiating will be Father Jude Okonkwo.  Serving as casket bearers will be Julian Grado, Jayden Ruiz, Javier Ruiz, Steven Arambula, Joshua McDonald and Roberto Armenta.

Tommy was born September 4, 2001 in Silver City, NM to Tommy Santoyo and Christina Bocanegra. He currently had been employed a desk clerk at the Days Inn. Tommy enjoyed playing video games on his ps4 with his friends and if he wasn’t playing video games he was listening to his music and out and about on his moped. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his nephews and niece. Tommy will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Tommy Santoyo and Christina Bocanegra; his partner, Taylor Cano; sister, Christina Marie Saenz (Jesus); brother, Julian Grado; nephews and niece Jayden, Arius, Oziah, and Christina Alycet; maternal grandparents, Hector and Cristina Bocanegra; and his beloved pet dog, Fritzroy. Tommy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Maria Santoyo
