Ralph Crowell, 57, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, NM. He was born on January 30, 1965 to James Ralph Crowell “Sonny” and raised and loved by Julie Peru in Ajo, Arizona.  

Ralph was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and a friend to all he met. He was very proud to have served with the Army Airborne, sharing his memories to all who would listen. He was an excellent mechanic for many years. He was a very dedicated Freeport McMoran employee as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He loved tending to his animals, barbequing, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening…anything to do with the outdoors. He also made moonshine, he loved to dance and sing karaoke while enjoying a cold beer. He was an expert Shim-Shammer with his brother Johnny. He was a proud member of the Vaqueros MC, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his brothers, who also were his family.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Crystal Crowell, his two sons, Daniel Crowell (Virgina) of Las Cruces, NM and Nick Crowell (Ashley) of Las Cruces, NM; his one daughter Jada Crowell of Silver City, NM; his mom Julie Peru (Angel) of Arenas Valley, NM; his birthmother, Cecilia Dee Miller (Bill) of San Diego, CA; his two brothers Johnny Crowell (Shoni) of Carlsbad, NM and Michael Crowell (Elicia) of Mustang, OK; his two grandsons Jace and Cody Crowell; his In-laws Mike and Linda Peelman of Silver City, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews; his Vaqueros MC Family.  He is preceded in death by his father “Sonny” Crowell (2008); his one daughter Kristina Crowell (2018); his paternal grandparents Ralph and Lovada Crowell.  

Inurnment will take place on Friday, September 23 at 1:00pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full Military Honors followed by a Celebration of Life held at 2:30pm at Brown Derby in Santa Clara, NM.
