webster1 copyIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles E. “Bud” Webster of Silver City, New Mexico, who passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 84. 

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Burlin and Lois Pauline (Dow) Webster; his sister, Leola Crumpton; his brother, Jim Webster; and his grandson, Clay Webster.

He is survived by: his sweetheart of 63 years, Patsy Ruth Webster; his children, Brett Webster (Tara Dentice), John Webster (Kelly Carter), and Todd Webster (Lesti Helton); his grandchildren, Kandice Webster Pennington (Scott Pennington), Siona Webster, Austin Webster, Zane Webster, Jake Webster and Tanna Webster; his three great grandchildren, Nathan Pennington, Trista Pennington and Carson Pennington; his younger sister, JoDena Gonzales.

Bud Webster was a true cowboy at heart.  He loved to be in the saddle riding horseback. Bud took pride and honor in his family and friends. His heart was passionate for kids exploring the Gila Wilderness, and every kid that came through his door became one of his kids. Bud was the first to help or give if someone was in need. He will be truly missed.

A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2pm at the Silver City Church of Christ (1920 Little Walnut Road). We invite you to make a donation to Silver City Church of Christ, PO Box 169, Silver City NM 88061 or New Mexico Boys Ranch, PO Box 9, Belen, NM 87002, in lieu of sending flowers.
