Guy Graydon Claypool Jr., 92, a Marine-Army Veteran and resident of Chaparral, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Patriot Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in El Paso, TX.  He was born January 12, 1931 in Sheffield, PA to Guy Gilbert Claypool and Agnes Gray.  Although he joined the Army, he was always a Marine.  

He is survived by one son, Guy G. Claypool III and wife Kori of Whitleyville, TN; two daughters, Gale Sera of Arenas Valley; Ginger Claypool of Chaparral, NM; step-daughter, Mavelyn Harris; five grandchildren, Robert Sera, Jonathan Sera, Louisa Sera Duke, Guy Claypool IV, and Laura Sera Misquez; ten great grandchildren, Michelle, Cassandra, Shoshawna,  Vladamir, Lilith, Selene, Bransin, Jaxsin, Cheyenne, and Riley; four great great grandchildren; one sister, Gretta Gardner of Sherman, TX; sister in-law, Lynn Claypool; numerous nieces and nephews; friend and helper, Magdalena Diaz; brothers of the Marine Corp Motorcycle Club. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Everlyn Claypool, his second wife, Betty Jo Claypool, and one brother, Garry Claypool.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Chaplain Don Driver officiating. An Interment with Full Military Honors will take place following the service at 2:00pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his follow hero soldiers and his wife Everlyn.
