The Mustang volleyball team traveled to Lubbock, Texas for a Friday night matchup with Lubbock Christian to continue conference play. The Lady Chaps defended home court taking the match in four sets over WNMU.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The teams traded points throughout the first, before LCU took a three-point lead at 20-17.

WNMU pulled within one before three straight kills from LCU ended the opening set in favor of the Lady Chaps, 25-22.

WNMU capitalized on LCU errors in the second to take a demanding 25-15 win, to tie the match at a set a piece.

Similar to set one, WNMU played catch up late in the set but fell 25-22 in favor of the home team.

Behind the serving of Adriana Leon (Lodi, CA/Sahuarita High School), the Mustangs went on a six-point scoring run early in set four.

LCU answered with a seven-point run of their own to go up 20-12, never relinquishing the lead to win the set and match, 3-1.
