...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM MDT
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 expected. Most
locations will see low morning temperatures between 28 to 32
degrees.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest New Mexico and
southwest Texas. This includes most lowland locations across El
Paso and Hudspeth counties in Texas, as well as Dona Ana, Otero,
Sierra, Luna, Grant, and Hidalgo counties in New Mexico.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing
