Village of Santa Clara
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Village of Santa Clara, New Mexico wishes to inform all interested parties that a public hearing will be held at the following:
Date: December 04, 2015
Time: 3:00 P.M.
Location: City Hall 105 N. Bayard Street, Santa Clara, NM

The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss and to solicit input on possible Colonias Infrastructure Fund Applications for the 2016 funding cycle, within the Village of Santa Clara. It is estimated that approximately $14,000,000 will be available through the Colonias Infrastructure Fund in this funding cycle.
A Colonia is defined as a rural community with a population of 25,000 or less that is located within 150 miles of the U.S. -Mexico Border and that has been designated as a Colonia by the municipality due to: a lack of potable water; or a lack of adequate sewage systems; or a lack of decent, safe and sanitary housing; and have been in existence prior to November 1990. The Colonias Infrastructure Act (ACT) was adopted in 2010, establishing a Colonias Infrastructure Board and dedicating 5% of the State's annual Senior Severance Tax Bond proceeds for a variety of infrastructure projects within the Colonias, including: Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste Disposal, Flood Control, Road or Housing projects.
Written comments for those unable to attend the meeting must be received by the Village of Santa Clara no later than December 03, 2015, 4:30 P.M., at the following address:
