Brian Etheridge, MD, FAAP was elected to serve as Vice President of the New Mexico Pediatric Society (NMPS) during their recent spring meeting in Bernalillo, NM.

The NMPS is the NM Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) representing pediatricians and allied health specialists

Dr. Etheridge, a member of the medical staff at Gila Regional Medical Center since 2007, is a native New Mexican and has previously served as Secretary for the NMPS. He is active in multiple local and regional committees with particular interest in pediatric health issues and rural primary care. He strongly endorses the mission of NMPS/AAP which is dedicated to improving the health of all children.

He will assume office in the Fall of 2014 and will assume the Presidency of the NMPS in the Fall of 2015.
