Plans are underway for the Ice Cream Social at the Silver City Museum. In the past, more than 1,000 visitors have attended this community-wide event. We have many enjoyable activities planned which will ensure that the Museum is everyone's first stop after the community parade. Live musical entertainment, traditional children's games, ice cream, root beer floats, cold drinks, popcorn, a miniature children's train, and the ever popular cakewalk will once again make for an old-fashioned celebration. Admittance to the Ice Cream Social will be free to the public.

If you would be interested in volunteering your time to decorate for the event, donate a cake for the cake walk, or help with activities at the event, please call the Volunteer/ Event Coordinator Thursday through Sunday 10am to 3pm at (575)-538-5921 no later than July 1st. For more information, contact the Silver City Museum at (575) 538-5921 or e-mail volunteercoordinator@silvercitymuseum.org
