The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) has summer intern employment opportunities. The Pathways Program aims to offer employment opportunities to students ranging from high school to the post-graduate level. These internships are offered to students studying agricultural and natural resources-related fields such as plant pathology, agronomy, range science, soil science, forestry, ecology, botany, biology, civil and agricultural engineering.

NRCS New Mexico plans to hire six additional interns for the summer of 2015 in the areas of rangeland management, soil conservation and agronomy. Interested freshmen and sophomore college students majoring in these fields should look for announcement postings on USAJobs.gov or contact Patricia Hunt at the local NRCS office, 575-388-1569 for more information
