Community Conversations are sponsored by the Grant County Food Policy Council and The Volunteer Center to bring Grant County residents together to share our thoughts and ideas and to listen to others, to strengthen community networks, and to help county and municipal officials understand what people in our communities need and want. The Silver Pool Study Group is conducting a survey to determine resident's desires regarding a public swimming pool. Please understand that this project is not sponsored by or associated with the Town of Silver City in any way.

GRANT COUNTY AIR SERVICES
It is possible that our airline service at the Grant County Airport could possibly return flights to Albuquerque. The U.S. Dept. of Transportation wants your input!
The due date for formal comments regarding proposals to serve Silver City has been extended to Oct 10th. Please submit any comments you may have to Scott Faulk at Scott.Faulk@dot.gov

GREEN DRINKS 5/9
The monthly Green Drinks meeting of the Southwest NM Green Chamber of Commerce and the NM Solar Energy Association-Silver City Chapter will be Thursday, October 9th at 5:30 PM in Little Toad Brewery, Distillery and Pub's backroom, 200 N.
