The Silver City Public Library has announced their first youth event of fall 2014, a multi-activity hangout time called “WildWorks” for youth ages 10 and up. The first event will be at the library at 515 West College Avenue on Thursday, October 9, 4:00-6:00pm. During the 2013-2014 school year, the library hosted Lego Mindstorms Club and Chess Club regularly. WildWorks combines the two clubs and adds more activities such as electronics, 3D drawing, Minecraft, and game programming. Youth are welcome to stop by the library anytime between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on October 9 to join in. No registration necessary.
