Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society announces they are now in the Fall tour schedule. Walking tours of Fort Bayard National Historic Landmark will be held the second and fourth Saturdays of each month except December, which has a tour December 13. Tours begin at 9:30 AM on the porch of the Commanding Officer's Quarters/Museum and lasts about 2 hours. The museum is located across from the Fort Bayard Parade Ground.

The Fort Bayard Museum is open on tour Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a donation of $3 per person or $10 per family. Fort Bayard is located 6 miles east of Silver City across from the Village of Santa Clara.

Raffle tickets are on sale for a Turn of the Century Dollhouse—$1.00 each ticket or 6 for $5. The raffle will be held Dec. 13—just in time to delight a child or adult for Christmas! For tickets or more information, call 307.640.3012. The proceeds for this raffle will be used to have the museum's piano tuned.
