The Silver City Food Co-op's November Community Forum is a discussion on "New Native Food Crops for New Mexico" presented by Dr. Richard Felger.  Dr. Felger has conducted research in deserts worldwide and has more than 100 peer-review publications, books and popular writings in botany, ethnobiology, and new food crops. He has strong interest in agricultural independence for arid regions: non-tillage, energy- and carbon-conserving crops to fit the environment.  This forum will be presented twice, Tuesday November, 11th and Thursday, November 13th from Noon to 1pm in the Blue Building at 614 N. Bullard Street.  All Community Forums are FREE & OPEN to everyone.  For more information, call the Co-op at 388-2343.
