The Gila/San Francisco Water Commission will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Grant County Administration Center. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and include any member comments into the proposed joint-powers agreement among the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission and governmental entities who may be potential members of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) Entity for the construction, operation and maintenance of a New Mexico Unit to develop water as allocated to the area by the 2004 Arizona Water Settlements Act.
