Meet Doodle, our 2-legged Wheelie Ridin' Chiwienie this Saturday, May 30th from 10 to 2 at Silver City Tractor Supply.

Howdy, y'all! My name is Doodle. Doodle the Noodle. I recently joined Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary because I needed a little help. Seems I arrived on this planet without my arms. That was a heck of a predicament for a feisty little cowboy like me to be in. See, I got plans to rope and ride, and maybe even wrestle me a steer, but I couldn't even walk. All I could do was hop like a kangaroo and I sure was gettin' tired of pushin' my little nose on the ground and gettin' no where. My first mom said it would be OK if I joined up with the outfit on this dog ranch owned by a nice lady called Laurie West. She said her ranch had lots of wonderful dogs to wrastle with, I would feel right at home there, and she could fix me right up. After I got a little more healthy and put some meat on my bones, Laurie found a place to have custom "wheels" made for me and sent word out that I was in desperate need. Lo and behold, in less than 24 hours a lot of really nice people donated the $400 through Facebook and petcaring.com for my custom wheelies! My legs are getting straighter and stronger and I'm gettin' better at using this here thing every day. Taking those corners and backing up are still a little hard for me, but remember I'm only 5 months old. I'm 'specially attached to my human Laurie and she says it won't be long 'til I can be out chasin' horses and wrastlin' with them other little doggies. Yee Haw! I think I'll live here furever!

We have a fundraising event coming up Saturday, May 30th at that big Tractor Supply Store in Silver City, New Mexico. They've always been big supporters of us! Some of my pals will be there just a grinnin' from ear to ear, tails a waggin', hoping to catch the eye and heart of someone willing to adopt them and let them bunk at a human's furever home.

We'll also have some fine vittles for sale for eatin right there like delicious breakfast burritos, hot dogs, chili dogs and brownies, and we'll be selling some good homemade breads, jellies, our canned salsa, jalapenos, and a line of sugar and salt scrubs and other things y'all can take home with you to help bring in some much needed money for Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue. I sure do hope you come out and support us, cuz it takes a heap of dough to feed and care for 40 mouths at the ranch. Ya'll come by and visit with us, pardner. Hope to see you and your kin there anytime from 10 to 2 on Saturday, May 30th, 2015.
