Tourism is a vital part of the local economy. A public forum - presented by the Silver City Arts and Cultural District will take place June 29 at the WNMU Global Resource Center Auditorium, 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

The evening will include a short presentation on the marketing of Silver City and a community conversation. The public is invited to participate in the tourism discussion and an exchange of ideas. How is Silver City being advertised? Why do visitors come to Silver City? What are the sources for funding advertising? How are all of us involved in tourism? What's in our future?

Now in its 5th-year marketing the Town of Silver City, the SCACD markets across a spectrum of print advertising, digital media, and outdoor opportunities.

"We invite everyone to join the conversation at the Tourism Town Hall and to see examples of the multi-media marketing strategy promoting Silver City." Said George Julian Dworin, Director, Silver City Arts & Cultural District and Tourism.
