RESERVE, NM; Oct. 9, 2015 - For Immediate Release - Gila National Forest engineers inform the public that road work is scheduled to begin next week on Forest Road (FR) 94 (Cox Canyon Road) on the Reserve Ranger District. Contractors will be hauling material Tuesday, Oct. 13 through Oct. 15 and again the following week starting Monday, continuing until approximately Oct. 22 weather permitting.

The Gila National Forest road crew will be using heavy equipment to spread the gravel as hauling trucks deliver loads, to minimize traffic delays. The actual work will be on the segment of FR 94 in Cox Canyon. The contractor's trucks will be along FR 94 from Apache Creek to Collins Park until the project is completed. Please drive with caution in this area.
