Next Sunday, Jan. 3., (the first one of the New Year!) at 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City, 3845 North Swan Street, the DVD "Understanding Islam" will be shown. It gives a brief overview of the essence of Islam, including Islamic teachings, the Five Pillars, Muhammad and early Islam, the origins of the Qur'an, and Islamic fundamentalism. Please join us. There will be coffee and conversation, with light refreshments, after the service.
