Bayard Police Department

Welfare check
North Street
Received a text from a caregiver saying to call the cops. Unknown why because he can’t call her back and she has no minutes. Officer advised that it was in reference to an unwanted subject who left upon request.

Domestic disturbance
Hurley Avenue
Caller advised that her sister is making threats that she is going to kill her. Officer advised transporting one female in protective custody/female turned over to hospital staff/clear.

Welfare check
1101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Caller advised that caller picked up a very disoriented, elderly male who was walking. EMS advised negative on patient transport. Officer advised that the male’s daughter went and picked him up.

Sunday, Jan. 24

Loud music
Runnels Drive
Officer made contact with tenant/advised that they would lower the music.

Weapons fired
Hurley Street
Caller advised that she saw a vehicle pass by with a firearm sticking out of the vehicle then heard three shots from the vehicle, which left towards Canyon Street. Second caller advised hearing four shots and a vehicle squealing away. Officer advised that everything appears to be okay.

Domestic disturbance
N. Yucca Street
Caller kept on insisting to send an officer right away then finally advised dispatch it was about a hit and run but wouldn’t say what he needed.

Harassment
N. East Street
Caller advised that her ex has called 162 times this morning making threats to have her and her current boyfriend beat up. Officer responded/clear. Caller called back advising they are still getting those phone calls. Officer advised clear again/they just wanted him to listen.

Disturbance
Orchard Street
Officer requested EMS in reference to a female who attempted to overdose/was involved in a domestic/male left prior to arrival/lights and siren requested. Advised clear/it was between a husband and wife.

Welfare check
S. Yucca Street
Caller requested a welcheck on his three children, ages 7, 6, and 3. Advised that they should be in the care of the mother but she is interfering with communicating with him although they do have a parenting plan. Deputy advised negative contact with anyone at the residence.

Criminal trespass warning
D Street – 6:30 p.m.
Caller requested a CTW on a male who is threatening to take caller’s vehicle.

Sunday, Jan. 24

Unwanted subject
D Street – 8:15 a.m.
Caller advised that a named male is in the yard and he is not supposed to be there. Advised that now he is in the house. Homeowner got on the phone advising that she is okay with him being there as he’s her son and he went over to help with bills and her grandson doesn’t get along with him. Officer advised that the mother does not want to issue a CTW/clear.

Caller advised that he is being harassed by his son and is worried about the son’s sister.

Caller advised that she got a call that her sister is bleeding from the mouth.

Caller advised that she received a call from her daughter advising that a named female was pulling out of her driveway, and caller wants a CTW issued to the female when she is located
