The Grant County Master Gardeners will be pruning a small young home orchard on Saturday, February 20 from 12 noon - 2 pm. The general public is invited to attend and have some hands on experience under the guidance of the Master Gardeners and the Extension Agents. The trees include: apples, pear, peach, and apricot. Participants will learn the central leader, modified leader and open center or "wineglass" methods of fruit tree training.
