Silver City, NM - The Silver City Arts & Cultural District would like to announce their newest endeavor'the brochure rack program, formerly run by the Mimbres Region Arts Council. The brochure racks provide information to both travelers and locals, while supporting businesses, organizations, and attractions throughout Silver City and the surrounding area. With twenty-five locations and over forty brochure spaces, the program offers an excellent marketing opportunity within the community.

"As the tourism entity for the Town of Silver City, this will be a perfect fit for our organization and the affairs of the Murray Ryan Visitor Center. We look forward to building and improving strong relationships for the benefit of all who welcome and depend upon an increasing flow of visitation to our community," added Callie Kennington, Executive Director of the Silver City Arts & Cultural District.

While the Mimbres Region Arts Council has been running the program successfully for the past few years, they're ready to hand it off to the Silver City Arts & Cultural District.

Kevin Lenkner, Executive Director of the Mimbres Region Arts Council confirmed by saying "When we take a critical look at our operations, it was easy to see that this program, at this time, makes more sense in the hands of the Arts & Cultural District. We have full faith in their abilities to grow the program and increase the impact of their tourism mission. The Mimbres Region Arts Council will continue to develop a vibrant arts community that attracts both local and regional audiences."
