GǣArts & Humanities Education Alliance for DeeperGǥ (AHEAD) Learning

Mimbres Region Arts Council announces a new initiative, GǣArts & Humanities Education Alliance for Deeper (AHEAD) Learning,Gǥ to advocate and support arts and humanities education in Grant County schools and communities.

Through collaborations with area school districts and community organizations AHEAD Learning initiative will be comprised of representatives from area museums, historical societies, performing and community arts groups, arts councils, as well as K-12 education specialists and administrators.

The goal is to improve utilization, communication and collaboration between schools and community-based arts and humanities organizations for the benefit of students, K-12, in Grant County, NM.

Additionally, the initiative will identify ways to reach students and their families outside the school system and develop a similar forum to align nonprofit programming efforts with the needs and desires of the community.
