Bayard Police Department

Caller requested female officer but did not give any information. Officer requested ambulance for a 58-year-old female who was burned by an e-cigarette exploding in her jacket pocket.

Caller advised that a 4-year-old child is supposedly living with the father who is using drugs and not able to properly care for the child. Officer made contact and advised everything appeared to be okay.

Suspicious vehicle
N. East Street
Caller advised that a light blue SUV just drove up and smashed out several of her friend's vehicle's windows then drove off. Advised that it was a named female that did it and she was with a nick-named male. Caller advised that the female threatened to kill her if she called 911.

Caller advised that a named male is on his way from Santa Clara in a red Jeep to possibly start a fight. Officer went traffic with a red Jeep and is en route back to the residence/deputy is standing by with the Jeep.

Caller advised that her 15-year-old son is trying to leave and wants to go with his father/it all started over a dog. Dispatch can hear son in background saying caller doesn't even have custody of him. Officer advised will be waiting for the dad who is en route from Las Cruces and will be giving juvi a ride to the rest area between Hurley and Deming when the dad arrives there.

Caller advised that his grandsons are fighting then hung up. Officers made contact and people who were fighting left.

Caller advised he wants to talk about his brother coming over and asking him to pay a bill. Caller thinks his brother is a mental patient or a patient of some sort.

Caller advised that he has been trying to call his friend since 6 p.m. with no answer. Officer made contact and found a broken glass door. Male being welchecked advised he is okay and door was shot out by a BB gun at an earlier time.
