AARP, in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service, will prepare and file Federal and/or New Mexico State income taxes, for free, for seniors 60 and above, and taxpayers with low income.

Many seniors can receive Low Income and Property Tax rebates from the State, even if they don't need to file a Federal Return.

The free service will be provided at Watts Hall, corner of Highway 180 and Swan Street. The service is by appointment only. You can sign up in person at the Silver City Library or Silver City Senior Center. Appointments are available now.
