The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City, 3845 N. Swan Street, February 26, 2017, 10 am. "All About Mardi Gras With Bayou Seco" Silver City residents, Ken Keppler and Jeanie McLerie will lead the discussion about the medieval history, Christian and Pagan customs revolving around the return of spring. The music of these worldwide celebrations, including participation by attendees, will be a glorious statement of this important time of year. There will be some masks, Mardi gras capes and rhythm instruments to play for the Fellowship children. This celebration of Spring will culminate with a parade (costumes welcome) around the room or the outdoor space depending on the weather. There will be coffee and conversation after the service and everyone is welcome.
