Silver City, NM, August 15, 2017—The Supervisor’s Office and Silver City Ranger District of the Gila National Forest will be closed on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 8:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for an employee training. It will reopen at 11:30 for normal business. If you need to purchase maps or other forest products during those hours, the Wilderness RD in Mimbres or the Glenwood RD in Glenwood will be open.
