Would you like your horse to have better manners? Is he disrespectful, pushy, spooky, hard-to-catch, or does he just walk off when you're trying to mount? If you'd like your horse to be easier to handle, responsive, calm, and respectful, then this clinic is for you! A horse with good manners is a safer horse.

There will be 2 days of groundwork/riding exercises based on The Down Under Horsemanship Method by Clinton Anderson. On day 3, the exercises will be put to practical use on obstacles, which could help build your horse's confidence on the trail.

This will be the 5th time that Magen has honored us with her teaching skills. She had apprenticed with Clinton for 5 years and achieved the level of Professional Clinician, not an easy thing to do. Magen's most recent accomplishment is winning Reserve Championship at the 2017 Calgary Stampede, in the Extreme Cowboy Racing timed event. Having been on her own for several years, she will show you how to apply the exercises to your horse's specific needs. The Method works on any horse, regardless of age, breed, or temperament.

This clinic is limited to 8 participants, so sign up early! The event will be held rain or shine. The cost for the 3 day clinic is $435.00/participant, requiring a $217.50 (½) deposit to accompany your entry. A few stalls will be available @ $10.00/night. Plenty of room for trailers. Lunch will be provided for participants and their helpers.

Auditors are welcome: $15.00/day or $40.00/3 days. Bring chairs & lunch, and dress for the weather. Beverages will be provided.
