For the weekend beginning Friday August 18, 2017 at 4:00 pm and ending Monday August 21, 2017 at 8:00 am, Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 66 calls for service and had 110 self-initiated activity, and made 16 arrests including 1 DUI.

Included in the above calls for service are 2 Burglaries, 4 Domestic Disturbance, 1 Fight, 1 Criminal Damage, 2 Stolen Motor Vehicles, 3 Loud Music/Noise, 1 Battery, 3 Shoplifting, 4 Harassment, 7 Welfare Checks, 5 Motorist/Citizens Assist, 9 Citizen Contacts, 3 Unwanted Subject, 1 Injuring or Tampering, 1 Civil Mater, 1 Child Exchange, 1 Private Property Accident No Injuries, 1 Hit and Run Accident, 1 Accident with no injuries.
