On Saturday, October 7, Bill Hudson of the Imogen F. Wilson Education Foundation, will lead a guided tour of the old Mattocks Ruin and around the historic buildings including the 1882 doctor's office and the Mimbres Museum. All ages are welcome. The tour begins at 1 PM but the museum will be open from 11 AM - 3 PM, as it does daily throughout October. The tour involves light walking and lasts about 1 hour.

If buildings could talk, they would share many stories about the historic buildings and of the people who lived in them. But Bill Hudson will do the storytelling on this tour. Come early, bring a picnic and eat on the beautiful shady front porch. Pick out gifts for special occasions in the gift shop.

The Mimbres Culture Heritage Site is located at mile marker 3.7 - just a block off highway 35 on Sage Drive. Bring your camera and wear comfortable walking shoes.

The Mimbres Culture Heritage Site is a 501(c)3 and "keeps the lights on" with your generous donations. For more info call, 575.536.3092.
