For the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend beginning Wednesday November 22, 2017 at 4:00 pm and ending Monday November 27, 2017 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 85 calls for service and had 247 self-initiated activity, and made 9 arrests. No arrests were made for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 4 Domestic Disturbance, 1 Loud Music, 2 Disturbance, 4 Harassment, 6 Welfare Checks, 3 Animal Complaints, 3 Civil Stand By, 3 Information Complaint, 1 Breaking & Entering, 1 Reckless Driver, 2 Motorist Assist, 1 Injuring – Tampering, 3 Unwanted Subject, 4 Citizen Assist, 1 Child Exchange, 1 Noise Complaint, 1 Private Property Accident, 1 Vehicle Accident No Injuries, 2 Accident Property Damage.
