For the Presidents Day Holiday weekend beginning Friday February 16, 2018 at 4:00 pm and ending Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 48 calls for service and had 266 self-initiated activity, and made 12 arrests. No arrests were made for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 2 Domestic Disturbance, 1 Burglary, 1 Weapons Fired, 2 Larceny, 1 Injuring - Tampering, 1 Criminal Damage To Property, 1 Loud Music, 1 Traffic Complaint, 1 Shoplifting, 2 Abandoned 911, 1 Harassment, 3 Welfare Check, 3 Information Complaint, 2 Reckless Driver, 1 Falsely Obtaining Services, 2 Civil Matter, 4 Citizen Assist, 3 Private Property Accidents, 1 Accident Property Damage.
