This Saturday the yearly Give Grandly event will be held in downtown Silver City, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., in conjunction with the opening of this summer's Farmers' Market.Give Grandly is sponsored by the Grant County Community Foundation and is a major fundraising effort by a coalition of fifty-four 501-c-3 organizations.

The Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society and The Learning Center for Dyslexia and Academic Success are both very worthwhile organizations and they would appreciate your donation if you are so inclined. If you can't make it downtown on Saturday you can donate Saturday by going to the Give Grandly website, givegrandly.civicore.com, click on donate, find either or both of these organizations, click on give, and donate.
