These Featured Artists of the Grant County Art Guild are ready to greet you this weekend at the historic Hearst Church Gallery in Pinos Altos, just up Highway 15 from Silver City.

Hoosier born, David Brink has lived in Silver City for more than a decade. He began his photographic journey more than 20 years ago when he resided in Akron, Ohio. Photography is David’s hobby and his goal is to make the process enjoyable and interesting for himself and the viewer. After a career as an academic librarian, David Brink studied photography at the University of Akron and has participated in workshops led by Clyde Butcher. With shots from Ohio, Florida and New Mexico, his work is eclectic in that he shoots whatever catches his eye.

Keith Spangle attended art school at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and pursues oil painting. Keith has a fondness for fantasy and science-fiction subjects done in a realistic, illustrative style. Since moving to the silver City area in 2016, however, he paints more traditional landscape and wildlife themes. More of his work may be seen at Keithspangle@Deviantart.com and currently at Finn's Gallery in Silver City.

Hours to meet David or Keith are 10:00-4:00 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you’d like to see an artist at work, Keith will have his easel and paints ready. He will be working Friday and Saturday. David will be on hand Sunday to show his work and answer your questions about his photography.
