For the week, beginning Monday, October 8, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and ending Monday, October 15, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 169 calls for service and had 318 self initiated activity. 13 total arrests were made, none for DUI, Narcotics, or Paraphernalia.

Included in the above calls for service are 8 alarms, 1 burglary, 5 domestic disturbances, 4 accidents with property damage, 1 accident with injuries, 3 larcenies, 2 criminal damage to property, 5 agency assists, 1 loud music, 1 traffic complaints, 5 utility complaints, 4 battery, 2 narcotics violation, 11 suspicious vehicles, 4 weapons fired, 2 disturbances, 6 shoplifting, 1 game and fish, 1 DV Order violation, 3 parking violations, 4 harassment, 1 request officer, 15 welfare checks, 20 animal complaints, 1 civil standby, 2 information complaint, 1 liquor law violation, 6 reckless driver, 1 child abuse, 1 abandoned vehicle, 1 custodial interference, 2 injuring/tampering of a motor vehicle, 2 unwanted subjects, 8 suspicious persons, 1 falsely obtaining services, 2 civil matter, 21 request public services, 2 criminal trespass warnings, 1 found property, 3 suspicious activity, 9 citizen assists, 5 child exchanges, 1 lost property, 1 vehicle burglary, 5 private property crashes, 2 hit and run crashes.
