The Grant County Democratic Party will use the site of its campaign headquarters (111 E. College, at the top of Bullard St.) to help celebrate the season with a Coffee, Cocoa and Cookies Cafe before, during and after the Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 24. There will be a nominal fee for the baked goods and beverages.

"We all love the lighted parade, but it's always plenty cold," said GCDP chair Frances Vasquez. "We're glad to open our temporary office that night to help people stay warm. We urge everyone to stop by, get a hot drink, and maybe something for the kids."

The Democrats will also have a float in this year's parade. They will be vacating the office (the former "Curious Kumquat") at the end of the month. "We want to thank Rob Connoley for agreeing to rent his building to us for the campaign season, and we hope people will come enjoy it with us for one more evening," stated Ms. Vasquez.
