The topic of the Black History Month presentation will be the Montgomery, Alabama bus boycott of the mid-1950's. The presentation will explore many little-known aspects of this Civil Rights event, including the role of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the huge impact of this movement on African Americans and on race relations. Participants are welcome to bring their questions and concerns. There will be plenty of time for discussion.

Jeffrey Scott has taught African American History to university and high school students across the United States. Since his teens, Jeffrey has participated in movements for social change. He has completed a novel about the African American Civil Rights Movement.
