Silver City, NM, March 21, 2019, For Immediate Release— The Gila National Forest, Forest Supervisor signed the Record of Decision for the Big Burro Road Decommissioning Project on December 1, 2018. As a result of this decision there have been changes to the motorized trails use in the Big Burros Mountains. The change is from motorized trails for vehicles less than 50 inches in width, to motorized trails for vehicles greater than 50 inches in width on the trails designated on the map, located in the Big Burro Mountains.

This new MVUM will be available at the Silver City Ranger District/Supervisor’s Office located at 3005 E Camino del Bosque, Silver City.
