Silver City MainStreet will be one of more than fifty non-profits participating in Give Grandly on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. It will be held at 8th and Bullard Streets on the opening day of the Farmers Market. Give Grandly brings the region together as one community, raising money and awareness for our local nonprofits during the 24-hour online giving challenge and in person giving at the event.

Silver City MainStreet has been busy installing public restrooms and securing funding for the MainStreet Plaza. Already in 2019 we have put on the Urban Challenge Fun Run, a Love Local promotion, Merchant Mingles, and updated and reprinted the Downtown Guide and Map.

Silver City MainStreet is truly a grassroots organization that relies on donations and support from the community. We always need funds for operations and projects, and are also raising funds for the Main Street Plaza, activating the dead-end of Kelly Street, and we want to continue to decorate downtown Silver City for the holidays and make it a special place for families to enjoy.
