May 12 at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street  – “Mothers’ Day and Mothering”

Shauna McCosh, midwife and nurse practitioner, owner of La Clinica Health and Birth Center, will discuss the history of Mothers’ Day and the concept of mothering, from the traditional perspective as well as a broad definition of what it means to “mother”.

This is a Family Program Sunday and The UU Children's Program for the month of May will center around The Gift of Moms (and making a gift for Mom) and the Gift of Community, where we will discuss what it means to be a part of a community and different ways to contribute to that.

There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are always welcome.
